Almost every reputed company possess a website of its own to project its products and demonstrate its services. So before designing a website you must be aware of certain things. Five important attributes of a good website design are:-
1. Template design :- Your site must have a unique design. It must be attractive, enticing and visually appealing. Visitors should be impressed at the first go. Nowadays free template designs are available in the market. But these templates should not be used as it has been used a number of times in different websites.
2. Content development :- Content plays a very important role in website development. The content must be rich in keywords, unique and at the same time must be relevant to the theme of the website.
3. Captions and meta tags :- Title has an important role in the content. Each page should have appropriate title that must be supported by meta tags.
4. Website navigation :- Care must be taken in website navigation. The viewer must be able to navigate all the pages of the website easily from the homepage.
5. Broken links :- Broken links should be absolutely avoided as it gives a bad reputation to the website.

I believe the next big thing in web trends will be to bring it back where blogging/web is all about: the new creative quality content. Not just copying ideas from big blogs but the smaller writer/bloggers will come with the new great ideas and reach out for a bigger audience. With more emphasis on typography and design detail.
